I am looking to use these loads in a Ruger Flat Top Convertible 45 Colt45 ACP. It is built on a mid size Ruger frame and is safe for 22’000 to 23’000 psi. The load is a 300 grain wide flat nose hard cast lead gas check bullet over 9 grains o Unique in WW brass and large pistol primers. Opinions please? Thank you.

It would be close. I use 10.0 grns Unique behind a 250 grn as absolutely maximum.

Brian Pearce did a great article in Handloader magazine a few years back for that fun. He gave specific loads that were redlined for that gun in all weights. Sorry I don’t have a quick link for you.
