If you shoot cheap 22 ammo like I do, you owe it to yourself to get an acurizer tool from Paco Kelley. Makes bargain brand bulk ammo shoot so good, you'll wonder how you did without for so long. Fermin turned me on to this tool, and it works. Look up Paco acurizer, on the web.

I have his flatface tool. So I can consistently put flats on rimfires instead of eyeballing them with a file. Works great and have been contemplating the accurizer.

What I told Joe was unfortunately we can’t hope to keep Paco forever guys. If you shoot a 22 sixgun this tool is a “must have” no two ways about. Better get one from the man himself while you still can.

Not the same at all....Reeders allows you to nip the nose of and make a flat nose. Pacos original too also bumps up the size which gives increased accuracy in most revolvers. Pacos also gives different nose “profiles”.

Paco has a number of hollow point variations as well for the different pins he provides. I use a bench press Arbor press with mine for most consistent results and the results are surprisingly uniform. The terminal results are far more effective as well.

I'm going to have to get an arbor press. Will a small one work? I've got a couple of variations of Paco's tool. Using a small plastic tip hammer doesn't give me the warm fuzzy feeling that I'm getting the best result.

Once I get the bullet where I want it, I just make a reference mark on the press with my sharpie so I know where to stop the lever. Some guys use a digital caliper readout which if you already have one for your lathe or mill would be ultra precise!

I have a 3 at a time version and a little pocket version that Paco made as gift which I cherish. Do like 2dogs says and use an arbor press! It's the way to go. Great tool.
