at one of the local gun shops, they have a "shooter's round up" every fall, & invite all the manufacturers where you can shoot their guns for just ammo cost... for a while, when the 500 S&W was new, I shot it every year they brought one... that gun shops pistol range has carpeted baffles / walls between each lane, in their outdoor range... I was shooting steel plates, & there was so much concussion from the 500, that each shot, knocked all the steel plates over... hows that for shooting... knock down 4-5 plates with each shot  |
