I traded this Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 3.75 inch awhile ago to my LGS. No one bought it, so today, a year later, I rebought it at a bargain price!

Well, it must have meant to stay with you after all. I see many wish they had certain guns back, hit this one just wouldn't go away would it?

I've got one just like it, and my grip panels fit about as poorly as yours appear to. I havent even shot it yet, but as soon as I'm done procrastinating I will do something less skin-removing with the grips.

That's my favorite pistol I own. I put stags on it and different sights but there is nothing in the woods I fear with it on my hip.

We trail ride quite a bit in TN, KY, MS, WY, MT, and NE. I usually carry my 5.5 inch .45 Colt Uberti SA. This will now be my go to trail gun. Plus I can carry six rounds instead of five.

I took a birds head gripped 45colt, 3.75" barrel and turned it into a bisley,...its my avatar and my favorite packing gun.
Those short barreled guns with big holes are very cool IMO.
