Dang that thing is stunning!
You could have saved time watching the bidding process and simply traded it to me for a Ruger No. 1 Lyman Centennial (smile)
(I expect it will ultimately sell for more than that rifle would bring.)
I asked a question about the revolver through GB email, did not at first make the name connection from GB to this forum. My old brain.........
One day the planets will align to bring such a nice custom like that in my sights at the same time I have funds to grab it and skip the waiting time on a build.
It still haunts me wondering about my early Linebaugh 5 shot I had to sell ...how many times has it changed hands, and where is it now? Memory fails now to recall the number Mr. L stamped on the frame in 1988/89. I wonder if he'd have that info handy in a dusty notebook just to put that mystery to rest? I'd maybe put out a post in case the current owner might see it in this or the Ruger forum.

John keeps a pretty good list of each of his builds and when he did them. Just give him a call and see what he says.
