I have a Colt Cowboy SSA that is locked up. Bolt wont drop, hammer wont cock. I know the were not common guns so parts are harder to come by.This gun has a 7.5 in.bbl. Need some advice on locating parts. Also possible gunsmith's. Thanks!

Are you able to remove the base pin & cylinder?
Do those models have a transfer bar that requires a base pin mounted plunger to hold the transfer bar rearward?
See if it will cycle while held vertically & pointed at the ceiling.

A lot of single actions will lock up if you hold your mouth just right. Problem is, you don't know exactly how to hold your mouth so you can avoid it!
Usually, disassembling them and putting them back together will fix it. Take the gun apart (grip frame off, hammer, trigger, and bolt screws out) until it frees up. Then put it back together.
I've had to do this more than once on single actions I've owned. First learned about it with my very first Ruger Old Army. Someone locked it up in a pawn shop, I bought it for a song, and got it working again, only to lock it up again that very same night while lowering the hammer and letting go of the trigger too early.
I highly doubt you need any new parts.

This was to be Colt's competition with the original Vaquero. As I recall, it has a transfer bar and they paid Ruger a royalty and basically the action was Ruger's conversion for the Ruger 3 screw model to a transfer bar. A inexpensive Colt SAA that didn't make it in the market place. Odds are if you take the cylinder out you will then be able to pull hammer to full cock and then lower it. Most likely work then. If the hammer is pulled back until the locking bolt drops and locks the cylinder and then the hammer falls to half cock, it will be locked.
