They are listing a 355 grain gas check design. Must be a fairly new offering, I know he didn't have any 475/480 bullets a while back. As good as their rep is I can't imagine a problem.

I wouldn't order a zillion of them. I'm pretty sure my new Ruger .480 is going to want a .477" cast bullet. That doesn't mean they won't work in your gun. I'm just saying it might be better to try some first.

I'm just saying it might be better to try some first. 0.477" to 0.478" is the usual. I use 0.478" in mine. And hard cast need not apply...... not over 10 BHN.

I asked Dick about his Ruger 480. He is shooting a .476" bullet however it's a powder coated cast bullet so there's no lube for gas blow by to cause him grief.

My plan is to open my sizer to .477" first and try a few. If I need to go to .4775" or .480" I'll have room to do it.

Call and ask Matt what other if any sizing he can do with this bullet. He has given me some leeway on 44 bullets. A new size, bullet for him, he may not have other sizing options yet, but ask. If enough people ask..
