I recently acquired a new carry revolver and it feels incredibly light compared to the 3" GP100 I was previously using. I love the GP but this Kimber rides like a dream on my hip, I'm using a Simply Rugged Pancake with the IWB straps and it works very well. Here's some video of the maiden voyage:

Loving mine as well except the rubber grips. Mine got switched out.

I didn't seem to mind the rubber grips but ordered a set of the Altamont crock/stipple to try out anyway. I usually prefer something smooth for carry. That's a nice looking package with the holster.

I looked at one for the first time just last week, impressive IMO.

I've looked at these and they are an impressive gun. excellent trigger, good sights, nice fit and finish. I just can't justify the expense in my personal budget. This makes me sad...

Nice. I first looked at a K6s at the 2016 NRA Convention. I didn't expect to care one way or another, but it was my favorite gun of the show. I figured I was too invested in J and K frames to do anything about one. Now they went and made them with 3" barrels. And my eyes are being kept open for one.

Am not a 357 fan, but that gun is darn pretty ! Has a style.

A buddy of mine bought one a couple months back and it is a really slick little revolver. I think that I will probably have to have a 3" barreled one at some point.

I've had a chance to shoot it a few times now and the revolver is great. I've shot light 38s up to max 125 and 180 gr 357s, all are enjoyable in their own way. Unless one of the revolver manufacturers starts building something crazy I'll be carrying this for the foreseeable future. I forgot to mention, I read somewhere that K frame loaders work and that is definitely not true for the Safariland Comp series. HKS DS-A loaders work well and I'm going to carve one up to tomorrow for a bit more clearance with the grip.

Alaskan thanks for the update. Like to see these working and shooters happy with them. That Speer Short Barrel 357 load ought to shine in that K6s? Also enjoyed your videos.

I am very happy with the Kimber. Strangely enough I found out after buying one that 3-4 of my friends use them for daily carry.

Looks like the Altamont grips finally shipped, they were out of stock when I ordered them. Here's the sample photo from their website:

Nice looking revolver. Hope to hold one some day and review it. Most likely will be an expensive review on my part.

I recently picked up a K6s 2 inch version. I was really surprised at how easy it was to shoot with 357 loads. Much more pleasant than I expected. Trigger is great and accuracy was very good. This will be the first revolver I have ever carried. Normally I carry a 1911.
