Sorry to hear that. It could happen to any of us far too easily. One investment downturn or one major health issue would put a lot of us in that position.

Sad but familiar to hear. I've been there, more than once.
One way to look at it is that at least you have something to get you out of a bind. The guns are helping in a way unintended, but still helping. I'm betting that most are replaceable should you find yourself back to that position in the future. Hang in there!

True, I mean I can find another Buckeye, I can find another colt, but that colt is my first and the action/trigger are beautiful, I've handled others no where near as slick or nice. Plus I have the colt letter on it too. I just sold an AR complete billet lower this am. Thanks guys for the replies, it helps.

Sorry to hear, Jim. As has been stated, many here, including me, have gone through the same thing. When I sell a nice gun to pay for something that we need, as I did last year to pay for a new roof, I just counted that pistol as a savings account that I was able to enjoy while I had it. Many years ago, I was forced to sell most of what I had. I'm a man of very modest means, and yet, I've got more good stuff now (by far) than I ever did before. It helps that the Lord blessed me with a VERY understanding wife!! Moral to the story, NEVER GIVE UP !! God Bless, Skip

Sounds like my wife as well, never says a word about me buying a gun, but sad when I have to sell one. I'm trying to hang in there.

Hopefully you can find friends to buy them. At least that gives you the option of buying them back when things improve.
