I've owned an original Model of 1988 5" and several later versions of this model, all pre IL and floating firing pin. The one I remembered most fondly of those I got rid of was a 4". Recently I found this one for a very reasonable price and decided to scratch that old memory itch. The stocks are aa set of old flat sided Combats. I've always favored them for the RB N-frames so I was glad I had these on the stocks/grips shelf. My memory of what these 4" 625s were like was accurate. This is a delightful N-frame and I look forward to shooting this variation again soon. Already have several hundred round loaded in Moonclips so please spare me the "you can shoot 45 AR" arguments (smile). Dave

One of my favorite revolvers. I have the 5" Model of 1988, 3" and 4" Models of 1989. Their accuracy, versatility and recoil smothering weight make them one of the best offerings from Smith & Wesson since their introduction. Just my opinion

This is the only 625 I have, and it's NOT for sale. I do enjoy shooting them.

Have always liked those, been watching for one for some time now, don't see to many and prices are high.

Owned a bunch of 25s and 625s through the years... Currently holding JM and PC 625s. Locks and frame mounted firing pins but I still like them.

I love my 625! It started out with a 5" target barrel. I picked up a Mountain Gun barrel from Midway and had that installed. I also replaced the lock with the "Plug"......
