You'll find many folks of which I am one aren't willing to suggest loads online because every gun is different and we have no idea about the ins and outs of how others assemble their loads. I have a subscription to: loaddata.com/ where most of the different reloading manuals are compiled in one lace along with loads from Handloader and Rifle magazines. FWIW I'd strongly suggest the HS-6 Good luck!

Yes I own a few all they have is hornady 325 loads for the 480 and the other only has275 and 325 jacket bullets and the other has none. None have hardcast info. Can u suggest one with hardcast info in it ?

The Hodgdon's online Reloading Data site has very good load data for the 480 Ruger. Not sure if it has HS6 data as I've never loaded that powder. But, it has 296/110 data for heavy hard cast . www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/pistol Not sure how this will display. This data is for the 405 gr boolit . the 420 gr boolit with 296/110 shows fairly mild pressure . and still over 1200 fps.

ya I looked at that. I emailed them and asked them what would they suggest I start out with and what max would be for the Montana cast 400 grain cast check and they just sent me back stat at 18 and max prob be 20.5 with h110 didnt ask about the hs6 . Thank u for your help.
