Any one have a measured drawing of the 224-32 fa round? I can't find a reamer or case dimension drawing anywhere. Also any of you guys playing with one that can tell me the neck length of the round formed from 327 and h&r brass I'd greatly appreciate it. Doin the mental exercise of what bullets would work with it in a rechambered single six.

The drawing on the fa website only shows the over all length of the brass. I'm curious as to body and neck length as well as shoulder angle etc. Basically looking for what I would need to order a reamer. The two neck lengths I'm curious on as it would let me cipher out which bullets I could use while staying above the shoulder of the case and maintain 1.4" oal to work in a single six cylinder.

The cartridge maybe copyrighted by Freedom Arms. If so you can only get a cartridge/tooling drawing from Freedom Arms. It is their property.
I could not find the cartridge listed in SAAMI. That lends credence to the aforementioned.
If you want to construct a drawing. You can make multiple chamber casts and measure with an optical comparator.

Thanks bud. One more question for more knowledgable folks. With a set of dies would a reamer maker be able to reverse engineer a reamer?

I have a Freedom Arms 224-327. If it helps you out I can send you a couple cases.

Gjn if I can't get it figured out I'll take you up on the offer. This picture is what sparked the idea but can't find where I saw it originally. On the right is the standard 224-32, on the left is a 32h&r formed in 224-32 dies. The shorter neck should let me make it work fine in a single six.
