 took this bull with a shot from my scope sighted encore in 450 marlin shooting the 500 gr hornady which stunned him allowing me to make the kill with my freedon arms 454 casull shooting the 320 punch bullet with a side brain shot,500 grainer was recovered,the punch was not,pass through. |

Ed, you keep up with post like this I will have to go back to rehab,;-). The local zoo has a restraining order against me now,lol.

Ed, very nice Elephant, the ivory looks heavy clear out to the tips. Where did you hit him with the 500 gr. Hornady, that had to rock him pretty good!

by the ear slit but to high,was to stupid to relies i didnt have my duffel bag on sticks and that would make bullet go higher,like a greenhorn i held as if i had it.wasnt supposed to even use the encore unless the shot would of been farther away.told the ph from the start i was going to use the opensighted handgun if close enough,comedy of errors.guess i had buck fever,at my age.hey nobodies fault but my own,we got it and it was a team effort,ive got the tusks,and the memories and thats that.
