Yesterday I received my long awaited 44-40 from Clements. Then yesterday afternoon, I received a call from by local pusher to let me know this arrived.

I sure like mine. That hammer functions better than it looks.

I want a big 50 myself. I am struggling over a BFR 500 vs a 500 Linebaugh. Congrats.

The BFR 500 JRH is a quick and easy way to a big bore revolver. Relatively cheap bullets from guys like Berry and cut down 500 S&W brass works if you can't find properly head stamped brass. This is mine with grips by Zane at LSCG on an unaltered frame. I'm going to put a FastFire II or III on it.

Fabulous grips. Have to agree on your comment on " quick and easy ", just in the proccess of getting one myself. Sure would like grips like that on mine.

You're gonna love that BFR. Can't wait to pick mine up from JRH. Mine came with a 7.5" barrel, too cumbersome for what I do, so I had Jack cut it down to 5.5" and do his grip frame work with new grips.

I like Christmas in June -- July, August, September, October....... Very nice! That is a great revolver! I have two of them in .500 JRH and they never fail to put a smile on my face. Did you consider their new "Bisley" grip?

Sorry about the multiple posts.
BTW, I love those grips. I need some fancy wood on my BFR Bisley. Just not sure how to remove those rubber ones.
