Elmer used the front ignition tube when he was going testing for the government arsenal. He writes about it in at least one of his books.

cherokeetracker, I forgot to mention earlier when you first mentioned about heat treating your bullets in the toaster oven & then not getting them all sized for a couple of weeks & then you stated how hard they were to size. The easy way to correct that besides spraying with Hornady One Shot, which doesn't always solved the problem after they've set for several days is, just reheat them again in the toaster oven. That solves the hardness problem & lets you start over & it doesn't change anything. Sorry for not mentioning this before! Dick I was reading and listening to you, but I do not remember anything about the re-heat. Thanks. I did use the Hornady one shot lube. And yes it did make things easier. I am about ready to do some more of the PC.
