The easiest load is 10 grains of Trailboss with a 350-400 grain lead bullet. Berry's bullets makes a really economical bullet in a 350 grain, if I recall correctly. It will make you love a big bore.

I shoot that load out of BFR 500JRH and a #5 Ruger 500 Linebaugh. Both are 5 1/2" guns. I use Winchester primers and get about 800fps from 400 grain bullets and about 850 from the 350's.
