Does this particular make and model receive rave reviews?
A 2.5 MOA seems like its more suited to a rifle than a revolver?

Haven't read reviews of the DeltaPoint Pro, just owned a few and used them. They hold zero when used on reciprocating pistol slides, and the dot never flickers or fails. That's all I ask of a RDS. I also can change the batteries without taking the sight off the gun, which is a big advantage over the Trijicon RMR in my opinion.
2.5 MOA is great on a pistol if you want to shoot precisely, rather than just quickly. Because I use RDS on pistols to aid my shooting past 50-yards, I really like the 2.5MOA dot.

I would love to try one of the 1 MOA dots on a sixgun someday. I have the Trijicon and the earlier Deltapoint and I do not like the battery change method. Anxious to switch out the DP on my FA 475 with this one and see how I like it.

I have an early Burris Fastfire w/1" dot on a Freedom Arms 555. Battery compartment is on the bottom of sight. The 1" dot might be good for shooting 100 yard groups but otherwise too small for me. The dot does not appear distinct when viewed. A problem which I have not experienced with the late Leupold Deltapoints. I really like the dot on the Trijicon RMR. It is crisp and distinct but maybe a little large.

I have a few of the RMR 06s I think. I think they are 3.25s. Nice and work great!!

I shot a buddy's Glock 17 with a new Delta Point Pro and that thing is lightning fast up close and accurate for me out to 50-75 yards. Meaning I had no problem keeping hits on a 6" plate. That's good for me anyway.
