I picked up this Ruger Redhawk in .45 Colt/ .45 ACP today. No way around it, this is a big revolver. Will probably survive anything you throw at it for several lifetimes if you stay sane with loads. It's very well fitted and has a really good DA and SA trigger, which has become a rarity. Can't wait to shoot it.

Just found this on Rugers site and ordered one. Hell, $38.00! That's a bargain for a leather holster with basket weave.

Been eyeing the same model Redhawk. Love the interchangable calibers without changing cylinders. Keep us posted on use and handiness of this great lookin gun.

I've no guns here with .45 sized holes drilled thru'em but THAT would have tempted me something awful !

I put a few rounds down range today. Here are 10 rounds at 50 yards using my range bag as a rest. Load is Winchester factory Cowboy load. 255 gr lead round nose.
