Had two Red Ryders here, but sent one down to Fla for the FIL. So, with niece's inbound ran to Wal-Mart for another something. Figured girls a year older..and a Beeman swith barrel pellet rifle followed me home. It proved to be a bit beyond them yet, so one Daisy got the snot shot out of it, ran outta BB's ! Oh the horror ! My first semi-real gun a Crosman 760 back when they had wood. But most of us started with something that fired BB's ! So, whats the preferred BB's now ? Don't need unobtanium match grade, Olympic ready, but whats out there that you like ? Last batch here of Crosman Copperheads corroded in the package and were pitched. Then FIL bought some Daisy and thats what we just ran outta. Soo..name your poison please.

Last I had were the copperheads. That was a few wwwwww years back I had a wood 760 to. Good accuracy with pellets but, horrendous with BB's. Most cherished was my Crossman 1377 pump pistol. Had two lever action bb rifles as a real youngster. Also had a pellet pistol resembling a 6" Smith 19 or 29. Forgot the model now. That 1377 was good with BB's, pellets and steel tipped darts Need another but, need the same type I had, not what they have now. Unsure it works with BB's! ? BB44
