I have a bad addiction to anything 44 Special. Usually I don't find what I am looking. On an occasion, I have to have it built. The top gun was done up by Jim Stroh. I had bought a new S&W 24 Classic, but it was disappointing in that it had to go back to S&W for various issues. So I sold it. I walked into my local toystore last Sunday and found the bottom 24. I am very happy with it so far.

Those are both Beauties! I really like the top 4" gun but, wouldn't mind that bottom one either I haven't found Anything in my local funshop that is in 44Spl. I keep looking but it seems either no one is selling them OR, everyone around here prefers 38/357 or autos! I'll keep a lookin and maybe someday I'll stumble upon something. Thank goodness for Gunbroker!!! BigBore44 PS What kind of grips are on your 4"? I like'em

Those are sweet. Really like the 4 inch. Of course the KBs don't hurt either.

I used to have a 5" 44 Special that Jim had built and it was one sweet gun. For some reason I let it go and now that Jim is retired I kick myself. The stocks by Keith really set that Stroh gun apart from the crowd. Did you order them from Keith or snag them off ebay or one of the forums?

Ordered directly from Keith. Took some time to get them, but well worth the wait.

I agree they are worth the wait. I have a set of his Roper style grips on a Bowen model 58 conversion that I ordered directly from him and it took several months just due to busy family schedules he was juggling at the time.
