As I've gotten older I enjoy recoil less and less. Any other 250 AI Lovers out there? I've found and fondness for both Nosler BT's and the Partition"s Reloader - 15 works very well. what do you like? I need to state I only hunt White Tail and east coast vermin any more.

Don't have any first hand into on the 250AI but, surely understand the liking of lighter recoiling rifles. I'm a big fan of the 243 myself and have a Browning A-Bolt Hunter that is a tack driver with 70gr Nosler "Varmint" BT's, 80gr Barnes TTSX, Nosler 95gr Partitions. Slightly Different POI's of course but, Deadly accurate...
Where on the E coast do you call home?

Well BigBore44 I live in Wheeling West Virginia, about 60 miles west of Pittsburgh PA or 125 miles east of Columbus OH. Do you live in the state of NY? I to have a .243 but I just like the 250 a little more. One of my first centerfire Rifles was a 250-3000 Savage (still have it).

I had a Rem. Custom Shop XP-100 in .250 Savage (not AI) for about 20 years, and used H-4895 and RE 15 and Hornady 100 gr. Spire points. It was a GREAT handgun for pronghorn, deer etc. Even shot a 450 lb. Scimitar Horned Oryx with it. I should have kept it, but you know how that goes.

I am a big 250 fan. I have two customs in it, one from Brown Precision and the other from Luxus of Ohio. I have had great success with 100 grain bullets at 2800 fps. The 250AI is a great round too with those straight sides and sharp shoulders.

Never have shot a 250AI, but it's near twin ballistically is a much favored cartridge in our house, the 257 Roberts.
My son has a Winchester 70 in 243 that really is overdue to be re-barreled to the Roberts cartridge. I consider that turnabout as fair play, seeing as how the 243 and 6mm pretty much brought about the demise of the Roberts and the 250-3000.

I love my .243, but would prefer a little bit heavier bullets. I've been thinking about rebarreling it in .250 AI. "Thinking" about it hard enough to have bought a used Manson chamber reamer; haven't stumbled across used dies at the right price, yet.
