some of you may have seen the thread I've had back awhile about this build... it's the nicest receiver my retired builder buddy has ever had in his hands, I decided on a 38-56 WCF chambering... bought a Sheilen Match heavy 375 barrel... & quilted maple furniture from Treebone Carving... I'll be ordering a set of sights this next week, & looking for suggestions, if someone has any for a single shot casual target use rifle... I'm thinking a target aperture sight... something like a Lyman 90 MJT or Williams Fool Proof T-K... I'm not sure what bases are available, but will need a base for a flat sided receiver... I'll be calling Brownells & talking with their techs prior to ordering... Front sight I'm leaning towards something more durable something like a 2 screw ramp... however I'm not finding that on Brownells website, so I don't know if those are still available or not... I see they have Marlin sights... though I think I need about 3/4" tall front sight to work with a target rear sight... Thoughts or suggestions BTW... I've been so busy with my mother lately moving her down here, that I haven't gotten over to see how the forearm turned out ( or taken any recent pictures )... with the heavy barrel, I had to buy a quilted maple block, & had the machine shaping done on my buddies equipment... ( I'll be doing the finish work, on the fitted & shaped rear stock, & the new forearm... I'm hoping to get the sights installed & get it home for stock finishing... blueing will come after the woodwork is finished

I share you interest with Martini's, they are very unique. One possible solution for you is a Parker Hale PH-25 rear sight that is typically found attached to Martini International match rifles. As you are probably aware these are flat-sided and the use the same mounting base as Unertl, Fecker and Lyman Targetspot scopes from yesteryear. If you want the correct front sight you will want a PH-1 which also mounts with the same type of base, Found a picture on ebay here: classic.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=14282691Something like this might work for you if the width of your action isn't too thick compared with the Martini International action. Redfield made excellent sights like the Olympic and Palma. I have the Olympic on a Remington Model 37. The basic problem there is the mounting base for those are for rounded bolt action receivers.
