I have duct tape! Hose clamps are bettererer IMO. It's easier to mount and Un/Dis-mount without the hassle of cleaning off the glue & gunk left from the Ducky tape. I just cleaned up a nice older (1977) 336 30-30 that will be hitting the chopping block probably tomorrow sometime. What kind of price did that 35 have on it If'n, you don't mind my asking.?? The hammer block safety started in 1984. Don't forget pics when you bring her home.... BigBore44

I've had a 336ADL 35Rem for about 54 years. The bore is not as pretty as it once was but it will still put 3 into bout 1.5in if I do my part. It has taken a lot of varied critters and provided many memories while living here.

35 Remington is underrated IMO. I just have a single shot, but love the cartridge. A good mold like the one mentioned above and you've almost got some backstraps cooking on the stove.

I've had a few (7 iirc?) Marlins in the 35 Rem. Sold all off now but, I fortunately still have a Remington 35 pump gun (14 or 141?) that has been in the family for 3 gen's now. I shot my 1st deer (6ptr) with this rifle. The last 35 Marlin I had was a 64' Texan. I sold the last few because ammo & components became Non-Existent everywhere I looked plus, if I were reaching for a levergun to take hunting or just for fun, the 44's or 45-70's Always jumped into my hands fastest! I've always considered the 35 marlin the be a mini 45-70, perfect for the lower 48. I've got a leverevolution load that pushes 220gr speers at 2200fps. It crushes deer and hogs, and has a very useable trajectory for hunting out to 200. My 45-70 hasn't been used for medium game in years because of the 35 rem.

I bought one last week, manufactured in 1976, I've been looking for a .35 for about six months, but in my neck of the woods they don't stay on the shelf very long. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but will when the weather is a little better. If you got a itch for one you better scratch it and buy it. I like the tang sight Alukban, I'm thinking on a Skinner for mine.

I've always wanted a .35 Remington lever gun. It's one of the guns I'm going to find in the off season.

Old enough to not have a safety. Ya talking about YOU or the gun I brought home one of these a while ago ,model 45 made for Sears but same gun. Still looking for a big pile-o-brass. I want to try some .357 pistol bullets for plinking stuff. Here in AZ we really don't really need "brush gun" performance but they sure look like fun.
