Mrs Claus was good to me, got a copy of Max's new book, and an Ultradot L/T sight with Weigand Mini scope base. Got the base and sight mounted today, might be able to shoot it tomorrow and see if it stays on the Bisley 480.

My wife just green lighted a USFA, I think that's the best Christmas gift she could have given me!

My wife just green lighted a USFA, literally the best Christmas present I've ever received! Where do you even go to get those? Seem unobtainable even if I could afford it. I got a nice family vacation for Christmas... sitting next to the pool while the boys swim in 56 degree weather.

There was a Dillon Automatic Primer Filler in small primer set-up under my tree. Now I don't have to cuss so much when I try & re-adjust my other one that will now be totally set up as lge primers only.

My boys gave me a new set of Outdoor Research, Expedition Crocidile Gaiters in all black. These are super heavy duty compared to my old pair, they should stand up well.
Had to try them out so got dressed and walked over the hill to the inlaws for dinner ( about 2 miles ), and checked the trapline on the way, pretty nice day.

I used the same, or similar, attached to a pair of Kolflach boots to climb Mt's Rainier and Marcy. Wonder if they are still in the basement somewhere. My first gaiters were a Christmas present from my Mom, a Frostline kit she sewed together for me. That would be the @'74. If you play in mountains, or deep snow, gaiters a must have. I've a mid-weight, mid-duty set I still use.
