I know they make BFRs in 50 Beowulf, but a while back I came across an interesting moon clip conversion for the S&W 500. For anyone with either the Beowulf AR, or the 500 S&W magnum, I think this would be an interesting addition. Nothing like being able to use your rifle ammo in your pistol, and vice versa (pronounced vee-chay vair-sa) I'd do it if I had either one, but I dont....yet... www.tkcustom.com/cart/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=211&cat=.50+Beowulf+Conversion+of+.500+S%26W+

That is very interesting!
I will say that you could use the rifle ammo in the handgun, but if you wanted to load cast bullets for the revolver, they would need a heavy roll crimp. This would make them useless for the rifle. Without trying it, I don't know whether factory taper crimped jacketed loads would suffer from bullet pull in the revolver or not.
I could never even get 50AE cast loads to work in my Freedom Arms because of bullet pull issues.

I haven't had many issues with bullet creep in either my Super Blackhawk, or my Marlin Lever action, in 50 A.E....
but had this thought a while back... it doesn't sound like it would be too tough to make a collet die that would put a crimp groove in the case, at the base of the bullet like a lot of factory big bore cartridges have???
