I have a Browning 53 headed my way and wondered what you 32 caliber fellars liked best for cast bullets. I'm looking hard at Accurate Mold's 31-115J gas check as a strong possibility. accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=31-115J-D.pngAny of you gentlemen have a lever gun in 32-20 and if so what is your favorite cast bullet? Thanks guys.

I have the same rifle. It likes anything from Saeco # 325 95 gr swc to 118 swc. I've used 296-110-1680-#7. 95 gr swc over 12.5/296 = 1958 fps. 10/4757 with same bullet is my favorite for 1605 fps. Its a hoot

I have a plainbase NOE copy of the 311316 that my Marlin 27S and Model 92 really like but that bullet from Accurate looks like a dandy. Both of my rifles are pretty elderly and I have no need to push them hard, the plainbase bullet serves them well.

I love m53's, that & m71 are the only 2 I know of with that short curved lever handle, it looks great on them. Nice find.

I opted for a gas check so I could have the option to lean on it if I choose to but for the most part I'll be running pretty sedate loads and using it as a small game rifle. I see a day spent on snowshoes chasing snowshoes with this rifle in my near future.
