Guys, What have your barrels been running for groove diameter on your Ruger Bisley 480's? I just picked one up. I saw it in a shop before I left for the slope and after mulling it over for a few days I called them and payed for it. I won't be home to get it for another week but in the interim I've been considering molds. I know I should probably wait until I get home, slug the barrel and order a mold then but I'm anxious to get it up and running as soon as possible. Maybe I'm being too impatient. I'm planning on a 400 grain WLN from LBT and a 400 grain SWC from Accurate molds. By the way, you guys are an enabling bunch of scoundrels according to my wife. Mart

Look at the MP molds 480 mold. It has 2 crimp grooves and the HP pins as well as solid. Sixshot and Zues call it a killer.

Thanks. I will check it out. I have an MP mold for my 45 Colt for the 285 grain SWC. Wonderful mold.

I went through all of his molds twice and didn't find one for the 480/475.

It does appear Miha is out of those 480 molds, you might email him he may have one or two not listed still. It a dandy of a bullet, I am partial to LBT 385gr LFNPB design myself, it ends up weighinh the same as the Miha with the big hollowpoints in place...

What was the bullet weight on the 480 mold you were referring to? I'd be in for a group buy on a 480 mold. I think my wife is right though.

In the big hollowpoint version it weighs about 385gr and cast solid nosed they weigh 405gr give or take depending on you alloy. Very accurate as well. I think it was the 480360 mold if my flawed memory serves...

I have both the MP mold and the NOE. My gun slightly favors the NOE. Both weigh 388 grains.
