Stopped by a local bait (gun) shop after work today. Picked up 2 pounds of Green Dot and 1,000 CCI large pistol primers. Wanted some 240-250 grain lead SWC bullets. But none to be had. Not even any jacketed stuff. Which is fine cause I didn't want them anyway. They usually have Hornady XTP's in stock but not now. So I ordered up 100 255 grain Keith's from Matt's Bullets. If they do the trick like others here have attested to I'll order up more until our .44 Terminator molds are done. I'm gonna load these up with 8.0 grains of Green Dot per an experienced hand loaders success with this load. I'll stuff them in that Smith 69 and look for nice round holes at the end of the grey/blue smokey rainbow. Hopefully the holes will be hugging each other like Care Bears at an Alice Cooper concert.

You'll like 8.0 of Green Dot in the .44 Mag. I've been shooting that combination for sometime. Burns clean and matches 9.0 of Unique over the chronograph. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"
