I recall recently looking at a post on one of the threads, (but cannot find it now) in which the author of the post shared a picture of a bullet that appeared to be a WFN or WLN design with a very large meplat. It appeared to be almost full diameter, perhaps 90% of full diameter. I thought at the time it looked like an interesting bullet but was short on time and didn't bookmark the page to go back and look at it some more.
I would be interested to know some of the specifics of the bullet, i.e., caliber, nose length, meplat diameter, and weight as well as who made the mold. Thanks.

You may also want to check out Lead Bullet Technologies (LBT) website and look at their ogival wadcutters. It's basically a wadcutter with a small radius in the nose that gives close to a full caliber bullet.

Thanks for the links encore64. Those were the bullets I remember seeing. I have molds from Accurate Molds and love the fast turn around and the quality of his molds. I have never tried the full, or nearly full meplat bullets but am intrigued with them.
gjn, I have molds from LBT for WLN bullets but have never seen a picture of Veral's ogival wadcutter bullets. I'm assuming it would look much like rjm52's 41 bullet from Accurate Molds.
I am giving much consideration to a heavy bullet mold for use in a 357 Mag and 357 Max and a 200 grain full meplat bullet has me very interested. Especially for use in a 357 Max but also in my Bisley 357 Mag.
Thanks.

Lubed with check with ww alloy it's 355gr. I bought if from a guy at castboolits years ago. He said he had Veral cut it with the fat meplat and that Veral really didn't want too. Very accurate out to 117yds. After that I can't get it too group. Might just be me or maybe it's destabilizing. I load it to 1200+ ish fps in my 7.5" 45 Colt BisHunter. 1300fps in 4" 454 Redhawk, and close to 1700fps in the 20" 454 levergun. I have't shot a critter with it but I do pack it in my 454 Redhawk as my bear protection load and have moose hunted with it in the 45 Colt BisHunter. I think it will do the job. Cast performance 360gr on the right. First 2 shots on right then I settled down for the last 3.

Thanks 41freak for the link to the OWC picture. Anytime, for a short range hunting bullet they should be a sledge hammer. Let us know how they do if you try them. I have several LBT molds and another one on order, all his designs are good.

Snyd, That's a great looking bullet.
