I was wondering, does powder coated bullets reduce pressures???
Just curious as the thought came to me today..?
Thanks BB44

Thanks BB44 Don't know, but have a feeling Powder Coat cast bullets exhibit smooth acceleration, with a corresponding smooth ride through peak pressure (sensible loads, of course, since pressure can be made to curse.) The question may be moot, although is suspect you've put your trigger finger on the pulse. Thanks to Jeff "Tank" Hoover, I am developing a deep appreciation for for Powder Coat. David Bradshaw

I straight out switched my conventional cast bullets for powder coated versions. I don't have the equipment or knowledge to say they reduce pressure but they don't seem to change anything. Cases look and eject the same as with plain cast.
