GOt a couple of single six 32s that I shoot the heck out of.The 6 1/2 is shot more than any other handgun I own. I go through these stages where I think this is the bestest, greatest handgun I got. Then next month. It's something else.Fickle I guess. My throats on my 32s are tight .a jacketed xtp won't even come close to passing through.Yet they shoot great with.314 cast slugs.Lots of swaging up and down going on. Groups are 1 1/2 at 25 yds. easy. You guys do anything to your throats on your 32s?? afraid to mess with success but curious. Glen

I opened up the throats on the two we have, until a .314 would just slip through. Our Single Seven came with .314 throats.

The ones on mine are .311". Important to note, a .311" won't fall thru a .311" hole.
Sounds like yours shoots great. Mine does too.
I buy my cast bullets all .314". But, size them to .312" for my SSM.
This way I can leave them as is for my 327 Federal Single Sevens.
I don't fix what works just to match what somebody says it should be.

Some of the most accurate and cleanest loads I've shot were .454 or .453 in a gun that "should" be sized to .452. Don't mess with something that works.
