I finally got around to shooting the adjustable sight Lipsey's Bearcat. The little gun shoots ammo it likes into 1-1 1/4" @ 25 yards.
I passed a couple Bearcats on to other owners because accuracy was poor.
This one was bought for a base gun. I decided to shoot it while testing some other rimfire revolvers.
Doesn't it just figure? I can't butcher a gun that shoots CCI Velocitors like this.

Grab another to chop up, that's a keeper! Oh I know. Just my luck. Can't complain, but plans got to be changed.

The Lipseys Bearcat look like a great little gun. Just curious, what were your plans?

I have decided to just add a 22 Magnum cylinder to this gun. Plenty of length, so not a problem.
The bore slugged almost .224", so that won't be a problem either.
The saga continues...

Velocitor's are the 22LR of choice for a number of my rimfires. It's good stuff!!!
Congrat's on a winner!

The Bearcat isn't a target gun, but I've owned a couple over the years. The first one I used to run a trapline when I was in the Army in Fairbanks AK. I didn't put it on paper but to see where it hit so can't verify it's accuracy in group size, but it was accurate enough to shoot Snowshoe Hares in the eye out to about 15yds.

I've owned a couple of them and 3" or so about 25 yards was the norm. I was really surprised at the accuracy of this one.
Maybe the gun shoots better, maybe my eyes prefer the target sights or maybe just had a good day.
I thought CraigC's post was funny. I wanted a stainless gun, but settled for a blue model.
