Do any of you have one? I've been drooling over this one for some time: Something like that would be great in a mid frame 45 or full size 480.

I've held and cycled the Bowen 38-40 shown on his website. It is a really nice package. Tim

Hamilton's at the time. Not sure if it was for a customer or just personal. Tim

Neat guns but I will stick with a vaquero with a Clements S&W style rear sight if I want some type of sight on one of these.

Mine isn't a Bowen, it's a Clements, but i guess it's similar. Large frame Vaquero, .357 Magnum. Bisley hammer, free spin cylinder, #5 base pin, Colt style crown, black powder bevel, scalloped recoil shield and loading gate, lanyard ring, vertical gold bar front sight, added rear sight. Sheep grips by Patrick Grasshorn. Polished stainless with fire blue screws and pins. Thats my grandpas cattle brand engraved on both sides. Crescent ejector rod.

Kings6,
That pic at the top has a Clements adjustable rear on it.
Wait until you see the USFA Alan is working on :-)

I like the creativity used in dealing with the front sights ! Probably what I like the least on my box stock Nm Vaq Sheriff. Also the lanyard ring, they just make sense on a rough use gun, for horseback, ATV'ing, fishing and such. Strangely enough, I like the black plastic grips.

Patdaddy, having Grandpa's registered brand engraved on your gun is special, I like it very much.

Keep the photos coming, guys! I will add my factory stock Vaquero just for fun (it's one of the new .44 Mags).

If the sixgun in the OP was engraved, finished and stocked like Bowen's lightweight Colt, I'd probably wet myself. I love how the front of the frame flows into the barrel. That topstrap represents a lot of fine metalwork. Makes my dobber quiver!
