Went for a snowshoe last night and came across a pair of moose tracks going across our land. A few coyote tracks in the same area. Interestingly it’s not an area the deer like at all. Everybody needs space I guess.

North central ND. Lots of moose around. I actually got to go on a hunt for one this fall and ended up having to go in a corn field and finish it with the 500jrh! Didn’t expect to shoot a moose that day when I woke up to go crane hunting.

I'd hate to run into that beast on walkabout... when I was a kid I used to go on "walkabout" I was obviously trespassing, but not meaning anyone any harm... mostly was bog hopping & exploring the woods areas in this mostly agricultural area... found overgrown gravel pits, & hidden pond areas to go swimming or fishing... found a little pot hole in a stream in a pasture, that was chock full of northern pike, that must have gone up stream to breed & got trapped there... they were so hungry, they would bite on a hook, even if it just smelled like a worm... brothers, neighbors & I must have pulled 50 or 100 northern pike out of that 75 ft pothole for a couple summers in a row... would have hated to jump a fence & run into a Rhino back then

I knew there were some RINOS in Ohio, but never heard of a rhino there.

It's at a place called The Wilds. Eastern side of Ohio. My sister in law works there. It's pretty neat place. They have all sorts of African animals.

Pretty neat place. Thanks. I wasn't aware of The Wilds. Been some years since I spent time down there. Have hunted and taken deer from Salt Fork st. park and Egypt Valley area.

Dad and I found this about 25 yards from one of our feeders. Never saw him while hunting, never saw him on camera. The carcass seemed a little fresh to have been shot in season, but we couldn't tell if it was shot or died otherwise given the condition. Dad was a little bummed at the loss of a nice buck, but I figured we'll hang him on the wall all the same only without enduring the cold, gutting him, or paying for processing.

White Rhino AND a Sumatran Rhino! Great! I love the Bloodhound, too.
