I'm interested in what you think, recoil accuracy etc. Thanks, Barbarosa

Okay nobody else has one, I just purchased and shot my new one last weekend. Nice action, trigger does not need any work. My 200 grain SWC's for my auto shoot good but I want to load something a little stiffer for carry. Recoil is very mild even with the lightweight frame.

Use a 230 if this is for carry, I like the 230 grain Hornady XTP with either 6.8 grains of N340 or can do 6.8 longshot try for accuracy, The 340 is hard to find and very pricey now.

FWIW I shoot a 625PC 4" and a good general purpose load that I use is a trunecated cone 225 grain cast from Oregon Trail, I also shoot this bullet in my 1911s. Use 231 and it is very accurate and cooks along at 900fps.

Groo here I have a " few" 45acp revolvers. My latest is a Thunder Ranch 325. The gun shoots "little bitty " groups kick is not bad [ but I will put pachmayr grips on. [as ALL my smiths have because smith wood grips and similar are junk] you will find the more you shoot it the better is gets. My normal load is 5gr Bullseye under a 230 or 200 bullet. I will be trying to get over 1000fps from the 200 swc this summer for my walk around load..... Like the 45 super or the 45-08
