Gathering items for 480 Ruger loads. Lee doesn't have an off the shelf sizer for .475 bullets so I have to order a custom die. What has been the diameter of the new Bisley Blackhawk barrels in 480 Ruger? I can order in any size I need. It seems strange that for as long as the 475 Linebaugh and 480 Ruger have been available that they don't have this size. What size are you sizing your bullets to? Plan on powder coating.

I bought the Lee in 476 to try, I failed to size bullets that were cast from the MP 477-640. Waiting on the sizer die for the new star sizer. Ronnie

I did the same thing, but checked Midway on the outside chance Lee's site wasn't updated. Glad I found it there. Also, just ordered some Starline Brass for the .480 Ruger from Midway, they have it on sale for $42.79 per 100.

Ronnie I have had a 476 push thru since they were still "custom". I have sized a bunch of different 476 bullets with it including the MiHec. If it didn't size them they were skinny and I doubt the Star will either.

I put the Lee in my rock chucker, lubed the bullets and could not force them through the Lee, just my experience from 2 days ago. Ronnie

Apologize for my mis-interpretation. How hard did you cast them? Water dropped WW go thru mine with normal resistance.
