My lovely bride and I are moving in to our first home in November. It's 2.5 acres and comes with a barn that has a hay loft perfect for an 10 meter airgun range. I'm looking for suggestions for a target air pistol, preferably one fed with compressed air from tank rather than cartridges or pumping. What brands and models should I take a look at?

Check out the Benjamin Marauder pistol, sometimes called a P-rod, or the Crosman 1720T. Both can be had at Pyramydair.com. Also you can add a rifle stock for a small carbine.

Not exactly what you have requested but my old Daisy M722 has been stellar all around whilst killing chit here and there.

I can not help you with compressed air versions but I have been shooting a Beeman/Webley Hurricane for years and it is great for cats, rats and starlings! I have a miniature set of steel silhouette targets I got years ago and I have no clue how many hours I have spent with those set up on a 2x4 cross piece shooting them off!

Thanks guys, a silhouette setup is definitely part of the plan.

Very cool Axe! Those FWB's are neat guns and I'm leaning toward just biting the bullet and buying a higher end target pistol, given that I've got other guns for small-game / pest-control duty.
