Finally found a camera to take a picture of the OM SBH with the facotry installed brass gripframe. Sorry Axe, I couldn't get my toes in the picture! One of the RF boys was nice enough to let me talk him out of a set of stags to dress it up a little bit.

;D I bet the RF boys really like that! I see the barrel cut to 5.5 to match those grips....

Nope, not on this one! It stays just the way it came from the factory. The original grips are set aside and they are in great shape. I have an OM 44 FT I added the MR-3BD frame to and CAry did Macassar ebonies for that is going to Jim Stroh to become the required 5 1/2". Zeus is amazed this one hasn't gone on the auction block yet! He knows how I'm not a died in the wool collector and he figures this one will be gone before long.

It travels as soon as a bisley vaquero gets here from Montana! that way it travels with a few friends to keep it company overnight! Like many old timers, it will appreciate the warmer temps in the south during the winter months! Kind of like Sixshot!

If I would have been with you at Johns this weekend I'd still be in trouble. I told John I would give him a break form my name until the other jobs out there are complete. Only then will we start hassling the gentleman on Bird Farm Road some more!

For me there is a magic to picking one up and dropping one off without that UPS or USPS lull........ This time it was pick up the 500L and drop the 414 off. Next time it will be time to pick up the 475 and the question will be what to drop off. John had a Birdshead 32 Single Six done in one of the short barrel no ejector shroud configurations sitting on the counter.. It inspired me to talk to him about my blue single Six and the brass birdshead GF... ;D Found 327 brass on the ground at the range yesterday... Could be a sign..
