Can't imagine what I would ever do with one of those televisions. That hot and cold indoor plumbing seems like a pretty skookum invention tho; I might consider getting some of that someday.

I love TV, I grew up with it and enjoy it still today. I just have no need--or desire--to watch what is on most of TV today. My rejection of TV programming is distinct from a rejection of TV per se. How else would I watch John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies?

I've still got my Clint Eastwood on disc, no worries!

I haven't watched much tv since they took Deadwood off HBO. There are too many classic books out there to read to waste that time staring at the boob tube.
Of course there are still a few good shows that I'll watch that take an hour a week. Fargo is coming back in October, so I'll spend one hour a week watching it. Then I'll pick up with the one hour a week routine when and if it comes back next year.

Just watched the show, mainly for the Taffin segment. A bit disappointed that Taffin doesn't say a word about the new 454 and 480.

And why 41 Mag? I love it but how far do you push it to need a 5 shot. In mid frame maybe....

Ruger really needs to release all 7 hours! They could call it "The Taffin Tapes" I'd watch.

Just a quick TV note...GUN STORIES WITH JOE MANTEGNA this Wednesday night (26 August) on Outdoor Channel will be on "Big Bore Hunting Handguns," including the new Ruger SBH .454 (briefly).
And JT, every time I ask you to be on television, you tell me you have a "face for radio!"

I haven't watched much tv since they took Deadwood off HBO. The long dead Deadwood movie is back in discussion, apparently. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm practicing my kegel exercises.

Much better than the other show, this one was pretty good and went thru the history of big bore/hunting revolvers from Elmer Keith to the .500 Smith & Wesson.
