those are some wicked looking bullets. how are they shooting so far? They're turned on CNC screw machines, and with being homogenous material consistency is amazing. Data pushes them scary fast from 7.5"...very wicked from 18" rifle barrel. I'm liking them.

The 220s were trucking along at 1,700 fps.

...at a $1.30 a bullet they are a little "pricey" for plinking but for a specialty load would be hard to beat...

rjm 52, what alloy are you using for your cast .41 bullets

...alloy...a little of this and a little of that I am afraid... My friend collected a ton of wheelweights, range scrap, tin, Linotype, solder and ingots of questionable heritage... Mixed all together it shoots quite well....
It is hard enough to not lead, soft enough to expand and malleable enough that it rivets when pounded with a hammer.

rjm52 do you have an OAL on that load? I am curious it would fit in an FA 97.

All of 'em. The 2 300s and the 230 Keith. They dont look that different from one another but the 97 cylinder is a might short.

You are correct...Keith bullets are too long unless you use a .41 Special case. The 300s are way too long. The 250s listed in the other thread are about as a heavy a bullet you can go in a 97 without using Special brass or crimping over the shoulder.
