I have new model SS single-six grip frame, grips, and hammer available, if anyone wants them.

It is correct that Ruger is no longer using blued single action hammers. As such, they have also changed the part number.
The new Single Six Bisley hammer is KBR04002B, unless my invoice is wrong. You guys that just bought some, please confirm.
I ordered my 2, and had to wait about 3 weeks. Even though Ruger isn't building Bisley single sixes right now, they run some every now and then for service parts. If someone sends a blued Bisley single six in for repair, and it needs a hammer, it gets a stainless one.
They limit purchasers to 2 hammers per month.
This info is straight from Ruger.

Mine are still in the mail; haven't seen my invoice yet. But, the part number I was ultimately successful with was KBR04000B, and that's what is on arokcrwlr's recent invoice. Sure was challenging finding a customer service rep who could get the computer system to spit out the correct answer tho, even with the correct p/n in hand! Their computer/inventory system sounds like a junk show.

Man, I am so glad I looked at this thread! I got my hammers out tonight and compared them to the one single-six blued hammer I have, and they sent me large frame hammers.
Sorry for giving incorrect information.

Received the correct hammer assemblies today (yeah!). Single-six Bisley hammer (KBR04000B) measures 2.005+/- OAL; Large frame Bisley hammer (KBR04002B) measures 2.246+/- OAL.

I guessed, and he found it. Since Midway was out of stock of triggers, I went ahead and ordered from Ruger while I had them on the phone. He had to check that it wasn't a "factory fitted" part. It wasn't, so both pieces are on the way. We'll see when they get here. Price on the hammer as stated above, $35.47; trigger was $14.80 something? Grip frame from Midway was $85 and change, since my birthday was last week. Some of the birthday markdowns were very good! By the way, these parts are destined for my 5.5" Single Seven.

Yeah, between this and LSCG's Bisley Seven thread the bug is starting to gnaw at me and I'm not even real fond of the looks of the Bisley grip. Maybe do my 5.5 Seven to see how I like it...?

I haven't used Bisley hammers on plow handle grip frames, but I believe to use the Bisley hammers they need to be modified to fit the ears on the grip frame - i.e. the hump needs to be ground down to match the standard hammer profile. I don't know who to credit this pic to, but it shows what is needed...

Ruger rep said it could be 7-10 business days after the order went in. I ordered Monday and received on Thursday. You can hardly ask for better service!

Dave I love that look. Sixgun doesn't have to have the Bisley grip for the hammer to look nice on it. Yours is proof!

Many thanks Markbo. I think it makes the line of the gun flow smoother as well as helping my short thumbs keep things running. When I find something that works for me I tend to stick with it lol.
