I dropped by my gun shop Friday and saw this in the showcase. A little deliberation, and it came home with me: And it jus so happened I had a pair of stags for it: Its a Ruger Flat Top, .44 Special. Bob Wright

Congratulations on a fine addition.

Oh boy you have to like that. Congratulations! Nice catch, be sure to let us know how it does at the range (as if there is any doubt) That is very near the "perfect packing pistol"!

I have that same gun but with a custom made set of "Turkey Feather" Maple grips. I wish I had of got it with a 4 5/8" barrel & it would be as Mr. Taffin says " The Perfect Packin' Pistol"!!!!

When mine was shipped to me I couldn't believe how beautifully put together it was. Holding the gun just felt so right! I sent word to my dealer nearly immediately that I'd take the other one that followed consecutively serial # wise. I'm not one who really cares about that kind of thing, I just wanted to have another one of these beautiful packin' handguns!

The one I won at Shootist Holiday is easily the most accurate sixgun in the pile. Added a tall front fight and a Bowen rear sight. Simply superb
