Robster, thanks for the heads up. I'm like the rest of y'all: I'm always looking.
We've actually got a new-to-us Dragoon headed our way, *should* be here Saturday, a 5" Deputy in .357 Mag for my wife - Miss Molly says I've been having way too much fun with all this Virginian stuff, so she now gets one of her own:
Thanks again.

Fingers crossed it's a nice as it sounds over the phone; Miss Molly is pretty amped. We went to the range on Saturday for Valentine's Day (which is also our wedding anniversary) and she gave her Ruger LCR .38 a good workout. One of the attributes of the new Dragoon is that it'll eat the .38 food we've got in stock, so she can get used to running a single-action on this and then step up to .357.
We took one of our Virginian 22 Convertibles along, with the .22 LR cylinder chucked up, and put a hundred rounds or so through it. It's funny - it's stainless, with a 5.5" barrel, so overall pretty heavy. Launching .22 rounds, even Stingers, has all the drama of popping off a CO2-powered BB gun - there's hardly a sound, no push, and muzzle rise can be measured in microns.

My wife and I Went shooting on Valentines day also...which is also my wife's birthday, years ago when I asked my wife to marry me, she said yes but only if it wasn't on Valentines Day! " So much for the hat-trick!" April 1st worked, comes marked on every calender, and seems to be an easy day to go out on.

Seriously, marital life is indeed good when a session at the range together is as good as it gets.
