does anyone know if a bisley hammer/trigger from a ruger will work for a MRI BFR? also, for those of you that have done the JRH grip mod, how do you like it compared to a bisley grip frame?

I am a dyed in the wool Bisley man. That said, I like Huntington grip frame even more. It has a vertical profile like a Bisley, without putting your knuckles close to the trigger guard. Best $325 you will spend as far as I am concerned. Plus, the grip will be made to fit your hand.

I would give JRH a call . They will know and are very accommodating to questions every time I I called.

This is a Harton tweaked Huntington grip frame and grips. Feels better than a Ruger Bisley frankly.

Just like a stainless Ruger they clean-up nice. Here's one Gary Reeder did some work on for me.

Does that rounded trigger guard give you more knuckle clearance?

I could not understand why Huntington cannot reuse the grip panels on one of his grip frame jobs since it appears a though it is just removing material. Does he also lengthen the frame? And does he automatically bob the little rear point round or is that customer ordered?

Jrh actually makes the frame a little longer by welding some stock to it.

On the PreJT DMAX it works but not sure with the newer MR guns.
