Just bought this book at a local book store in the marked down section for $9.99! Thumbing through it I noticed page 177 seems to be missing some text. Is this old news? Anyone else's book like this? Looks like a great read.

Looks like a great read. "been able to use it for all it was worth." That's all that is missing. I still haven't forgiven the art director (at least this is who the editor blames) for that monumental screw up. I hope you enjoy it!

Still a great read. I bought 10 copies to pass out to handgun hunters and future handgun hunters.
Whit was good enough to personalize some I gave as gifts.

Best book sense Kelly and JDJ put one out. It's funny that you mention that book. I have related those two books many times myself. I grew up shooting handguns, but the JDJones and Larry Kelly book really kick started my handgun hunting career. I almost went broke at a young age investing in T/C Contender stuff. I paid the electric bill at SSK for years. Just about the time I settled down, I bought the Max Prasac book. Having always had a strong affection for revolvers, this made it worse. After reading the book, I bought 4 BFRs to add to the one I already had and two Super Redhawks. What's sad is I ordered two Contender/G2 barrels from Gary Reeder today. Recovery doesn't seem to be in my future...

I just received a copy of Big Bore Revolvers today as an early Christmas present from my wife. Started reading it and didn't want to put it down. Thanks to Whitworth for putting this great read together!

max's book should be required reading. great book! you have cost me A LOT of money--and counting--but for a great purpose. now, some of those pics of those nice fancy custom revolvers in that book, will too cost me a lot of money someday--especially that fancy Colt SAA done by BCA--I want one!!
