I bought an ATI Commander and decided to have it fixed up a little. The smith fit the frame/slide, new barrel bushing, extended slide release and ambi safety. He also reworked the action. To say it's a great reliable gun would be an understatement. He also cerakoted it. When it came back it had black plastic grips. So I added these.

Extended slide releases tend to cause problems. The extra mass can cause them to lock the slide from inertia with heavy recoil. The late Ray Chapman recommended against them. I have personally seen them lock the slide in mid string of fire. Other than that, it looks great.
