I'm considering a Redding Dual Ring Carbide sizing die for reloading .45 Colt. Has anyone used these dies? If so, did you see an appreciable increase in case-life or accuracy?

I use Redding standard single ring carbide dies and only size as far down as the bullet seating depth (same as neck-sizing a rifle cartridge). I don't have a need to utilize the second ring, so it would be money wasted.

I've got one and I'll have to say I haven't seen any advantage...

I use one, my cases usually last awhile, and enlarged primer pockets are my usual problem so I can't help you there. My Smith and Ruger Redhawk shot pretty good as is, so seeing a noticeable consistent difference - no I haven't. Cases look good and the die will last you & yours a couple lifetimes, so just get one for your 45 Colt, 45 ACP and the 44 Mag.
