I'd been wanting to build a holster for the classic Ruger 22s with a vintage look and modern features. I borrowed the high coverage and graceful lines of classic semi auto holsters of the past and added that to modern design attributes: a lowered belt loop giving a higher ride on the belt, shrouded rear sight, and cut to allow a full firing grip. I think it worked! After building this one, I had a conversation with Fermin, Tank, Glenn and Dur to get their input on a name...that was entertaining to say the least.... Introducing the new Trappers Companion...I hope you like it!

Very nice!!! I know what my next holster order will be. I could use one like that for my MKII 5 1/2".
