In case there are others here like me that have quit loading shotshells for just blasting purposes. Just a heads up,I picked up 4 boxes of Estate brand 12 gauge shells at Wal Mart, and I must admit they are pretty impressive shells. Way better than the Remington dove loads I used to buy.

I picked up a case in 20ga yrs ago. A light loading, similar to a 28ga in dram eq., and shot charge. Been happy with them.

I shoot the Estate some also and find them ok. Of the cheaper shotgun shells I try to shoot Kents if I can find them. They do not seem to be a trashy as some in a semi auto. Some of the cheaper ones blow unburnt powder out get in the eyes occasionally.

I believe Estate is a promotional load from Federal (could be wrong.) Our trap club sells them at the counter and they seem to be of good quality.

Estate ammo is good stuff. It's made by Federal and is the same hull as there promotional loads. Most skeet and trap shooters in my area shoot them with great results. I wish I could find some right now locally. Big skeet shoot a few weeks ago so the supply dried up locally.
