Was loafing......no, browsing...... and stopped by Memphis gunshop Classic Arms on Germantown Parkway in Cordova, and ssaw some "new" acquisitons. (1) Colt Bisley, looked like acceptable good condition for the gun as collector's piece, did not examine closely. (2) SAA, .45 Colt, 5 1/2", silver plated, engraved, engraved sterling silver grips, similar to Tiffany guns of time past. (3) SAA, .45 Colt, blue/case hardened, some wear, colors vibrant, yellow Catalin grips ($995) (4) SAA .44-40, nickel, factory ivory grips (5) SAA .45 Colt, factory engraved/nickel, grips scrimshawed, not sure if ivory or polymer. (6) 1849 Pocket, fully engraved, gold trimmed.
The Pocket Model and Bisley were not priced as I could see. All others in the $2000 price range except the silver gripped on was around $4700.

What chambering was the Bisley? #3 sounds cool, I might have to stop in there this week.

That's cool, I'll try to drop by. The wife wants to go to Memphis to look at furniture for the new living room.
